East Aurora is an amazing town on the outskirts of Buffalo, NY. Its relatively small, has a lot of white rich people, and has a crazy proportion of residents to bars. Bar Bill Tavern is one of their most legendary spots, dating pretty far back and always has a “muggers club”.
Their wings and beef on weck are their most famous menu items, but Alli and I went for the Mozzaluna’s.
Breaded mozzarella half moons with Oregano, Romano cheese and a touch of garlic, served with hot pizza sauce.
This place is way more fun during the summer time when you can spend time on the patio. It’s a notably biker bar but don’t let that stop you, they have some great summer night specials and I love how they serve PBR (my favorite beer).
