This weekend (August 31s, 2008 ) Alli and I went to Pearl Street Grill & Brewery and enjoyed another awesome dinner. I was hesitant to go because I normally don’t like their dinner menu, although I do love their appetizers. FYI: the cheese fries and cheddar beer soup are worth the trip alone. So this time I decided to think outside the box and force myself to get something new.
The Desilva
I ended up with the “The Desilva”.
A Delicious blend of wild rice, diced chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp, caramelized onions and red & green peppers.
For myself, it was a tasty meal. However Alli tried a bite and actually gagged 3/4 times (to the point of tears). So we had differing opinions. Overall it was good, but the shrimp were tiny as shit and the sausage i wasn’t a big fan of. But i did have my cheese fries to rely on.
