Down the street from my work is a lovely BBQ place called Fat Bob’s (its kinda hidden away). Since it’s hidden, it hasn’t been our #1 location.
Normally I have been pretty “eh” towards the food there. Its good but nothing ever blew me away, I have also never been a huge fan of BBQ. It’s good and all, but I think it can tend to be over rated or just generic. That was until my last trip to the restaurant when I had this guy:
Fat Bob’s Tenderloin Tip Sandwich w/ Peppers, Onions & Melted Cheese
It was awesome and for 9.95 it filled me like no other meal I’ve had on lunch in a long time.
They have a pretty good beer selection (again bottles of PBR will win me over like no other beer) and for anyone near the Allentown area of buffalo, ny I highly recommend a stop. This is really the only place in the downtown area that you can get BBQ, and this tip sandwich might be the best steak sandwich I have ever had (The Pink’s is a close second, but in a different way).
i just ate the Tenderloin Tip Sandwich tonight! i also had their special dessert which was some sort of peanut butter and chocolate mousse cake
