Considering they have a spot on our side bar and the family of one of our own staff members owns this place (plus he cooked this item for me personally), I will refrain from going into a long winded description of The Washington Market….
However I will say the following: they have wonderful baked goods (cookies–especially the peanut butter cookies–, banana bread, baklava …are all musts), it’s a great stop for lunch during the week and their beer selection has my seal of approval.
What you’re looking at below is essentially “Don’s Fries”, which are home fries covered in feta and Greek dressing. If you’re interested, go there on Saturday’s and ask for Mike. He will hook you up with this delicious plate.
