Friday I went out to lunch with the regulars from work and they decided to go to Gabriel’s Gate.
While it has a pretty cool location in a 100+ year old building in Allentown, and their food is good…in my opinion, nothing on their menu is outstanding. Yes, they do have pretty diverse options that range form burgers to Greek to a huge salad selection…but I never have a moment where I’m dying for anything on their menu. Their wings are good, but this is Buffalo…most places have good wings.
Friday I was in the mood for a sandwich. I got their chicken burger with feta and spinach. They have “code names” for all the different sandwiches, I think this was maybe the Arlington Ave. Not positive, but it was pretty good. I felt like it was missing something, and the spinach was very thick. But it was better/healthier then getting a sub at Jim’s Steakout.
