Hot Fudge Sundae with Caramel and Bananas
One of the first Buffalo Eats Food Porns we posted was a trip to Antoinette’s, West Seneca’s finest ice cream parlor. As you see above, we decided to go sans whip cream this time because it can be a tad overwhelming (and filling).
In the south towns I can not think of anywhere better to get a bowl of ice cream. This is not your typical soft serve ice cream stand. Its a lovely establishment with homemade ice cream, gelato and italian ice, but also a large and delicious selection of chocolates. For me, it brings back memories of being 10 years old and going to get ice cream with my grandparents. Walking into that place, with pink walls and shelves of chocolates, my mind instantly goes back to being a little kid.
Do yourself a favor and make a trip into West Seneca and try out this place, their quality of ice cream and the options of toppings and other treats all make Antoinette’s well worth the trip.
To note: Antoinette’s on the Hill is located on Union Road in West Seneca (near the Southgate Plaza) and the original location called is a bit father north, 5981 Transit Road in Depew. Both locations are great.
