We accomplished a lot in 2010 and we’d like to improve upon that and push it even more. So this is a list of some of the restaurants that we’d like to re-visit (they’ve changed their menu or it’s just been a long time since we’ve been there) or restaurant’s we’ve never visited and are long over due to be featured on Buffalo Eats. That said, this year is going to be a busy one. Alli is finishing her final year in Grad School and our wedding is in June. So, on top of the hectic schedules we will also be trying to stay healthy (at least for the first couple months of 2011) and the majority of the restaurants featured will be healthy and likely various international cuisines. Below are some restaurants that we hope to have feature on the website, but, in order to stay fit for our wedding, if they are heavy on the fried foods we probably won’t visit them until later summer and beyond.
Restaurants to Re-Visit:
- 99 Fast Food
- Betty’s
- Bistro Europa
- Five Points Bakery
- The Globe Market
- Merge
- Tea Leaf Cafe (we’ve tried it out already but haven’t written about it yet)
- Trattoria Aroma
Restaurant to Visit for the first time:
- Acropolis
- Amy’s Place
- Bingo’s Dim Sum House (We loved the review from Ann that we’d like to try it ourselves)
- Bocce Club Pizza
- BW’s Barbecue
- Earl’s Drive-In
- The Eights Bistro
- Gin Gin Chinese Restaurant
- Koreana (see Bingo’s)
- Kuni’s (see Bingo’s but replace Ann with Adam)
- Kennedy’s Cove
- Joan and Sue’s
- La Hacienda of NY
- Le Metro
- Liquid Energy Cafe
- Nektar
- Oliver’s
- The Pomegranate
- Romeo & Juliet’s Bakery Cafe
- Sinatra’s Trilogy
- Sole’
- Sue’s NY Deli
- Taste of Thai
- Thai Orchid
There are many other restaurants but I’d like to keep the wishlist short, simple and feasible. We’d like to add more than just new restaurants, we’d hope to add all types of new content to Buffalo Eats. Here are some of our goals:
- Review more food documentaries/movies and even books that are about food/cooking.
- Create more food “guides” to help Buffalo-ians and tourists to find specific foods
- Increase our Facebook fan total to 1,000+
- Add some new staff members and try to average at least 1 new post/day for 2011.
- Finish our Mighty Adventure and perhaps start a new “adventure”
- Attend more “Food Events” (food festivals and maybe a Nickel City Chef Challenge)
- Have our 2011 Class of Buffalo Foodies be larger then 2009 and 2010 combined (34 foodies)
- Start selling our T Shirts to fans and have multiple designs created
- Reach 150,000+ hits for 2011

Well guys your list looks great. I must say that I’m shocked that you haven’t been to Amy’s and I guarantee you will love it, great food and unique atmosphere. Enjoy your list and enjoy your year!
I’m really looking forward to it. I ate there once but that was maybe 5+ years ago and I still was in my “i love chicken fingers’ mode, really looking forward to trying it out with some new taste buds.
