Eat It Up: Episode 15 – Nelson Starr

I met Nelson a couple months into starting Buffalo Eats.  When he was working with TrueBlueBuffalo.com we met up at one of my favorite neighborhood pubs, Charlie O’Briens.  At the time I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do with Buffalo Eats, but I was excited that Nelson took some time out of his night to hang out, have some beers and talk about food in Buffalo.  Months later the Rust Belt episode of No Reservations would air on the Travel Channel and Nelson would become an ambassador for showcasing Buffalo’s better restaurants.

On today’s podcast we talked about how he continues to be a professional musician, what started his love of food and how he ended up on No Reservations hanging out with Anthony Bourdain.

Just a reminder, if you like our network of locally produced podcasts (Audio Buffalo), please support those who are supporting us: Noco.com (free Sabre Bucks!), Lifetime Service (broke your iPhone?),  Consumers Beverages (like beer?) and VIP Seats (get those hot Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad tickets).

I really love food and I love living in the city of Buffalo. I'm here to talk about both of those things.
