Eat It Up: Episode 24 – Ken Kerr from Bertha’s Diner

Just a couple weeks ago we had Ken Kerr (along with his wife Liz), owners of Bertha’s Diner, as Buffalo Foodies on the site.  I met Ken at the Artvoice Best Of awards a couple weeks ago and after talking to him for a while I knew he had to come on the podcast.  Located in the shadow of North Park Movie Theatre and only open a couple hours a day, Bertha is truely a hidden gem on Hertel Ave.  With a new owner for Bertha’s in the near future, we figured now would be the time to talk to Ken about the beginnings of the restaurant and what he’s planning on doing post-Bertha’s.

Just a reminder, if you like our network of locally produced podcasts (Audio Buffalo), please support those who are supporting us: Noco.com (free Sabre Bucks!), Lifetime Service (broke your iPhone?) and Consumers Beverages (like beer?).

I really love food and I love living in the city of Buffalo. I'm here to talk about both of those things.
