This Sunday (November 4th), three of Buffalo’s finest bakers will be competing against each other at Nickel City CUPcake Challenge. Much like Nickel City Chef, the event will take place in the gorgeous Artisan Kitchen and Bath showroom at 200 Amherst Street and will feature a live baking competition between the contestants. The challengers are Justina Adams (The Buffalo Cakery), Gen Perryman (Cupcake Orchard) and Kelly Audette (Fairy Cakes).
In the first round of the competition, they will be serving the judges and THE ENTIRE CROWD their “signature cupcake”, the second round will have the bakers using a secret ingredient. Judges include Brian Donaghy (Criollo Group), Mark Mistriner (Niagara Culinary Institute) and our very own editor and other half of Buffalo Eats, Alli Suriani (w000!).
Tickets are still available for just $29 and can be purchased here. Doors open at 1 and the competition starts at 1:30. In addition to trying the competitors cupcakes, attendees will also dine on snacks provided by Sample Restaurant.
