Buffalo Soupfest is a new event for restaurants to showcase their creative soups to a large crowd for a really cheap price. 2011 marked the introduction of this event to the people of Western New york and it was a booming success. Over 20,000 additional spoons had to be purchased to fulfill the demand and restaurants had to run back to forth from their locations to keep their bowls full. What’s really great is a portion of the proceeds went to Hunter’s Hope; a great charity that almost all Buffalo-ians love to support.
